Initial impressions

The bracelet was packaged well enough, and when I got it out, I immediately noticed that it was a little tight on my wrist. This bracelet will fit most women & several men, but if you are a larger boned person, it may not fit. I found that the compass is small & does not have real indicator on it which would make it difficult to use in land nav. I was not able to make use of the built-in fire starter but that could have been a case of operator error. The whistle worked fairly well, and I did not unravel the paracord because I know that I would not get back put back together correctly. All-in-all, it is a nice, inexpensive bracelet that is fairly well made & seems like it would hold up. If you are looking for survival options or a James Bond-type multi-function tool, then spend the extra money to get the proper equipment. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a sturdy bracelet that you can wear and that would hold up this will work.
